I am an outgoing and well-organised individual who communicates confidently and effectively at all levels.
I have worked in the marketing departments of a major textile producer and also in the meat industry, both of which gave me an insight into education at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, I have also taught at tertiary level and in adult education. I regularly do talks on nutrition to consumer groups and have worked on radio and in TV broadcasting.
As a freelance Home Economist, Lisa can carry out recipe testing work, provide training and workshops on cooking and healthy eating for adult education. She has been involved in updating a healthy eating resource for parents and their toddlers for the WEA (Workers' Educational Association). Lisa has worked in the food industry, education, healthy schools and health promotion. Providing training and workshops for education professionals, students and young people from early years up to higher and further education as well as training for health care professionals.
Jill offers a comprehensive Home Economist service throughout the UK (including Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, London, Edinburgh and Glasgow) , delivering a range of activities to customers including; performing live cookery demonstrations, creating and writing recipes and supporting well known TV chefs at food festivals. Jill also works as a food stylist and her work comprises of a wide range of services including styling for recipe leaflets, cookbooks, supermarket packaging, brochures and editorial images.
