I am an outgoing and well-organised individual who communicates confidently and effectively at all levels.
I have worked in the marketing departments of a major textile producer and also in the meat industry, both of which gave me an insight into education at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, I have also taught at tertiary level and in adult education. I regularly do talks on nutrition to consumer groups and have worked on radio and in TV broadcasting.
Jill offers a comprehensive Home Economist service throughout the UK (including Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, London, Edinburgh and Glasgow) , delivering a range of activities to customers including; performing live cookery demonstrations, creating and writing recipes and supporting well known TV chefs at food festivals. Jill also works as a food stylist and her work comprises of a wide range of services including styling for recipe leaflets, cookbooks, supermarket packaging, brochures and editorial images.
I have worked within education, health promotion and in business within the consumer marketing department for the meat industry. I can provide workshops and training for early years, primary or secondary staff, parents and young people.
Support early years’ settings or schools working towards achieving Healthy Schools status, the School Food Plan, or how to work together with young people and caterers to improve school meals. Recipe testing work, cookery demonstrations and support with developing primary educational resources to improve health and wellbeing.
